Physician-assisted death

I think it shameful that institutions are refusing to buy into the rights granted us by the law. The Supreme Court has ruled and we must separate the church and state.

The Supreme Court of Canada struck down the legal ban on physician-assisted death last year. The recommendations from this report are to help the government come up with replacement legislation by June 6.

Physician-assisted dying is one of the most contentious issues of our times. So director Kevin Eastwood wanted to explore the roots of the Canadian debate with his documentary the Death Debate released Feb. 25. See the film here.
