Dignity House Day Hospice open house

You are cordially invited to attend the Open House
to kick-off the opening of the
Dignity House of Perth Day Hospice Program.

Dignity House of Perth Hospice, Lanark County, Ontario, requests the pleasure of your company at their open house on January 10th, 2011, marking the launch of the local charity's first community program--a day hospice for patients and their families. The one-day-a-week program will run every Monday starting January 17th 2011 from 10am to 3pm, and is the first step toward a full-service residential hospice to be located in Perth.

"We're thrilled to be taking this first tangible step tow
ard a residential hospice in a home-like setting that will offer a dignified and caring alternative for end-of-life care to Lanark Country residents and their families," said Doug Burt, President, Dignity House Hospice Board of Directors. The charity was founded two years ago to fill a critical health care gap in Lanark County and throughout Ontario.

A number of health care specialists who have volunteered their time to Dignity House will be on hand throughout the open house to meet with you, and local residents and their families to answer questions about hospice and palliative care. Professional and volunteer staff, and members of the charity's Board will also be hand for this event.
