One of the great joys of the generations is looking at old family photos. In this digital age, we are more likely to label photos, or document them in some way. Respect for our elders begins with honouring them. My blogger friend, Derrick, posted some photos of his mother. It is such a poignant thing.
Before it is too late, however, it is important to organize them in some fashion. My late mother's photos (Dad didn't keep any!) are, for the most part, nameless and full of faces.
One project that grandparents can do with little ones is to create memory albums.
I had my parent's slides converted into digital format and put them into a slide show.
It is wonderful to do a Celebration of Life while that life still sparks.
