Memory & Dementia

This is a great video on memory, showing the brain, where memory centres are located and how memory is affected. It is interesting to see the inner workings of brain cells. We have learned so much. If the cells cannot communicate with each other (due to plaque, strokes or other physiological issues) the person cannot tap into their past. It doesn't bring your loved one back, but does explain why they behave the way they do.

"Memory is identity. When you forget your life you cease to be even before your death."
